I would love to join your Wine Nite! I have a feeling that Tess, Edie and Sam could quickly become old friends! It's funny how various cartoons can strike a chord at certain times of our lives. I have seen parts of my life played out with a sense of humor in such strips as Cathy, Baby Blues, Zits and For Better or Worse. I will now be checking in to see what these three smart, funny women have to say!

How this 'Toon Project Got Started

(or…how we started drinking and ‘tooning’)

We have found over the years that we all need some kind of therapy…
We turned to our friends. Carol joined a support group called Wine Night, and Sue meets for Margarita Night. In addition to providing wonderful group therapy, our friends, like most women, are naturally funny and have clever things to say.

We get together to talk about LIFE: changing careers, family milestones, opening new businesses, extended travel, becoming grandparents- and yes, clothes and shoes and food. Sometimes we focus on just trying to survive. Mostly we laugh.

Our groups are far from unique. Women everywhere gather for support from their friends. They meet for Classic Cocktails, Coffee and Chocolate, Stitch and Bitch, and Beers on the Driveway!

Wine Nite’s cartoon commentary celebrates all the courageous, frustrated, resourceful, triumphant and FUNNY women who meet in a similar fashion. Thanks for inspiring us to create these cartoons. We hope you’ll like Tess, Edie and Sam.
