Oh, what a tangled web...

My computer started strobing this morning. Firefox flashed about twenty entries across the screen. I might have punched the buttons a little too impatiently, but it was clearly an over-reaction on my desktop's part.

My printer swallows things up and prints at random. It occasionally is not on speaking terms with my computer. My relationship with the computer AND the printer is such that I can see myself throwing

BOTH of them off the deck.....

Clearly an over-reaction on my part.

How this 'Toon Project Got Started

(or…how we started drinking and ‘tooning’)

We have found over the years that we all need some kind of therapy…
We turned to our friends. Carol joined a support group called Wine Night, and Sue meets for Margarita Night. In addition to providing wonderful group therapy, our friends, like most women, are naturally funny and have clever things to say.

We get together to talk about LIFE: changing careers, family milestones, opening new businesses, extended travel, becoming grandparents- and yes, clothes and shoes and food. Sometimes we focus on just trying to survive. Mostly we laugh.

Our groups are far from unique. Women everywhere gather for support from their friends. They meet for Classic Cocktails, Coffee and Chocolate, Stitch and Bitch, and Beers on the Driveway!

Wine Nite’s cartoon commentary celebrates all the courageous, frustrated, resourceful, triumphant and FUNNY women who meet in a similar fashion. Thanks for inspiring us to create these cartoons. We hope you’ll like Tess, Edie and Sam.
