Part of our series featuring women entrepreneurs-this time with a creative connection.
Sonia and Fenzi courageously work every day in a country rocked by post-earthquake street riots, gunfire, and desparate chaos. These Haitian women are artisans who quietly create beautiful beads using a paper rolling process. The sale of these beads saves them from having to relinquish their children in a land with over half a million orphans.
Jennifer and Sara are local stylists who have been moved to action by partnering with ApParent Project to sell this intricately made jewelry. They are providing a non-profit connection in our own community to directly benefit these women and children of Haiti. This jewelry is available at House of Salons in Geneva.
